Documenting Generations

A young boy joins in with the Onondaga Nation men singers at an annual cultural festival.  The Onondaga Nation is a member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.  Known as the “Keepers of the Central Fire”, they are considered the spiritual and political heart of the Confederacy.

Capturing Natural Beauty

A lone buffalo stands in the wind during a snow storm at the Onondaga Nation. The Onondaga bison herd grew out of an agreement, now 50 years old, with neighboring rancher Brad Tiffany, who gifted the Nation 11 bisons.  Today the herd numbers at 100.
